My Story

I'm taking part in the Toddle because.....leeds children's hospital have looked after me since I was born and all the doctors and nurses take care of me so well they deserve all the recognition they can get and I look forward to wearing my costume 🎃👻🦇

Tyrone was born with vesicoureteral reflux and hydronephrosis of the kidneys, vesicoureteral reflux is graded from 1-5 and Tyrone has grade 5 on either side, he is now 16 months old and has had 18 UTIs 1 kidney infection uro sepsis 1 minor procedure called a deflux injection into the bladder, reimplantation surgery and a nephroscopy to fit a nephrostomy tube which stayed in place for 4 weeks as a result of the kidney infection

After all of his admissions we cannot thank the urology team and ward 41 enough the care he has received from doctors and nurses such as
