My Story

I am fundraising for Leeds Teaching Hospitals because as many people know Roman has been cared for here since birth due to his Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). He reached end stage renal failure before a year old which means his kidney couldn't do their job properly to keep him healthy which led to him being kept alive by peritoneal dialysis (PD). Without the incredible staff at LCH I wouldn't have been able to have had my son at home with me all this time. Thanks to them I was trained & allowed to care for Roman at home. Everything they've done has kept my son alive. Everything they've done have enabled him to become perfect for transplant. Roman is currently still on dialysis but has also been listed on the transplant waiting list. He wouldn't be at this point without Leeds. 
 

Raising money to ensure this amazing care & training can be continued so other families can be in the same position as us. It really is a small ask for a pound or two that's spare to come together & raise what we can to help.
