The British Transplant Games is an annual event celebrating recipients and donors of transplantation. The Games aim to demonstrate the benefits of transplantation, encouraging transplant patients to regain fitness, whilst increasing public awareness of organ donation.

This year from the 28th - 31st July 2022 the games are being held in Leeds and as a city we couldn't be more excited to be hosting! Each year over 1000 transplant athletes take part over 25 different sporting events with the 2022 games promising to be bigger and better than ever!

The inspiring 'Team Leeds' is made up of a combination of both Adult and Children transplant recipients, all who have overcome immense adversity to take on these sporting challenges.
